God Made a Farmer.... I can so relate to that commercial as I think back at how hard Lynn has worked. And the inclimate weather! Out there in the 0 temps and strong winds grinding feed for the hogs, being chased by a mad boar or cow, up in the middle of the night to load hogs, out before the sun got up and in well after it went down--sometimes not sleeping at all as the rain was FINALLY coming and crops had to be planted or harvested. Driving around and looking at the damage mother nature has caused by insects, disease, or weather.
I was happy for cell phones as I'd wake up in the middle of the night and he wouldn't be home yet. Once in awhile, I'd go check on him, many nights I'd pray for a safe return. Cell phones were a blessing! Especially the day he got stuck between the hay feeder and the big bale as he could call for help. So many farmers have not been as lucky as he was that day.
